San Siro Tickets

Experience world-class events at San Siro!

The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza — known throughout the world simply as San Siro — might have just close to 100 years of history, but it feels like much more. Almost a century of soccer has made this legendary Milan venue a true icon of the sport. Its 80,000 capacity gives it frequent claim in Milan as the largest arena for many events. Of course, the soccer world knows the San Siro, and it metaphorically shakes whenever either of the two main Milan clubs — A.C. Milan or Inter Milan — plays. No other venue offers the intensity of experience that you can have here apart from watching the two clubs go into derby mode and enjoy "The Derby della Madonnina." What makes the venue even more special is the chance to see major international artists who perform on its stage. Through our platform, tens of thousands of loyal fans have secured their attendance at the kinds of events that make the history books — legendary football moments and concerts that could never be replicated.

100% Authentic Tickets with Buyer Protection

Your financial information never goes directly to sellers when you make a purchase. Rather, it flows through secure systems that protect your sensitive data. The more than 30 different authentication steps we take to verify a transaction's legitimacy create formidable barriers intended to keep fraudsters out. Once a transaction is complete, we record it (along with everything else we've captured during the transaction) in your account without copying anyone else in. Should any question about the transaction arise, timed or unduly delayed, our customer support team has access to your transaction history and can use that access to help figure out what went wrong, if anything, and how best to make it right again.

About San Siro

For football aficionados, the very mention of San Siro evokes a shiver down the spine. This iconic stadium has stood as a testament to Italian football excellence for nearly a century, hosting some of the most memorable moments in the sport's history.

San Siro History

The stadium — originally constructed for AC Milan (1926) and expanded after the 1939 remodel to 75,000 seats — has always been an open-air structure. Subsequent renovations have yielded a roof structure that covers too little and too few of the seats. Nonetheless, even with this mixed bag of features, the current (official) capacity of approximately 80,000 makes San Siro the largest stadium in Italy. The Colosseum measures 105 meters long and 68 meters wide, which makes it an elite ground by any definition. Reports in Italy the week of November 17 suggested that the teams would take possession of the San Siro in late 2024 or early 2025. That means any December 2023 home date for AC Milan could become one of the last such occurring on that pitch.

San Siro Seating Guide

The stadium's shape and distribution of spectators are clear and purposeful. The first tier wraps close around the pitch, the second rests comfortably above it, and the third hovers over everything else in the house. If you are sitting members of the San Siro staff, you occupy the secure archway next to the gondolas that offer luxurious vantage points. Five major divisions within the house, each further sectioned into eleven or twelve sub-divisions. This is a total of 55 or 60 different sightlines, all varied and some compromised. The stadium can hold up to 79,000 on key nights. That was the number of spectators that filled San Siro on the night of May 27, 2001. Indeed, concert events may offer few to sightline obstructions as arrangers play with audience capacity through on-stage arrangements.

How to get to San Siro

Public Transportation to San Siro

The M5 metro line (the purple line) connects Garibaldi FS station in the city center directly to San Siro Stadio stop. The ride takes about 15 minutes, but pre-match the train fills with supporters, creating an atmospheric prelude to the main event. Services are timed to accommodate high demand on event days. If you prefer a scenic route, several tram lines serve the area. In fact, the walk from the nearest stop to the stadium rarely exceeds ten minutes, and the impressively large crowds going to and coming from the event make navigation intuitive as well as extremely safe.

When the event is over, patience becomes a virtue as thousands make their way to the nearest transit point. Meanwhile, the collective exodus funnels onto the streets, where noise fills the air with the unmistakable sounds of a soccer match being celebrated. The next stop: your safe and sane return back home or to your hotel.

San Siro Facilities

Food and Drinks at San Siro

The spaces at San Siro allow for pre-game meals and halftime refreshments to be enjoyed in relative peace. You can grab a bite before the game in various corners of the stadium. The food offerings include sandwiches, salads, and various Italian specialties, providing fans with convenient dining options throughout the venue.

Latest San Siro News

Matches at the San Siro in Milan, like the upcoming Nations League quarter-final between Italy and Germany on March 20, 2025, will become international goodbyes honoring almost a century of shared enchantment. The capacity of San Siro can be somewhat variable depending on the event. One can still find, primarily in the international press but also in the odd football magazine, that the capacity of the old lady remains around 80,000. The San Siro hits that number when configured for a concert.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time does San Siro open on event days?

San Siro's gates normally open 90 minutes to two hours before kickoff for a football match. The exact opening time depends on the event organizers and the type of event taking place. Entering as early as possible, when San Siro first lets its attendees in, is your best bet for missing absolutely no part of the action down on the pitch and for experiencing as much of the pre-game atmosphere as can possibly be soaked up before the match begins.
